what do muslims think is supposed to happen if i hear the quran being recited?
If i go to a muslim chat room (as an atheist), they constantly try and get me to listen to the quran being recited. Since I cant understand a word of arabic, its a complete waste of time. Its just a noise to me, and so I mute it. they accuse me of not wanting to hear the truth. I get the impression that they think simply listening to the noise is supposed to really impress me or something. " I don't think anyone knows the Bible word for word, yet there are hundreds of thousands of people than can recite the Koran front to back" the bible is literally ten times longer than the quran
You realise you can listen to ENGLISH recitations, right? The words of God have an emotional affect on believers. If you aren't a believer, they won't have any at all. As for memoisig the Bible...I believe Dr Zakir Naik has it memorised. Ironically, the only person I know of with the Bible momorised is a Muslim.
