Do people believe I am attacking the US (verbally) on here?
When I point out the glaring foibles in the US, I do it out of love (had to say it). I do it (at least in my mind) to try to bring some balance to the blind hurricane of pro-American, everything America does is right, America saves the world everyday like Jack Bauer saves America, Muslims are retarded, America has all the answers politics forum. Is that my bad? Would Americans prefer to never hear anything negative about their country? Prefer to just listen to other Americans tell you what it's like outside America?
I am an American that believes nobody is attacking America enough. We don't need tough love. We need a serious beat down. We need to appreciate how fragile our ideological fantasy world really is so we can face reality with proportion and perspective. P.S. Jack Bauer is an arrogant shrill shrieking blow hard.
