I cant think of any religion that has not been responsible for violence and hate?
but why is islam singled out and Christianity made 2nd in terms of hate and violence? most christians dont take the violent stories in the Bible literally which means Christianity is somewhat safe, while most muslims take every word in the koran and hadith as literally true which has created problems for islam right? Could this be the reason? But then again Hindus and Buddhists are not totally passive either right?
you are right as well as wrong. all the religions do speak about fighting. Islam also speaks about fighting. no religion of the world teaches killing of innocent humans it speaks about the fight between falsehood and truth. thats what Islam says. now some people ans especially the western media portrays as Islam teaches all this. they pick black sheeps and show as all Muslims are doing the same.
