First of all, there is a distinction between love and romance. Romance, if not tasted, may signify wasting time, effort and self-esteem. Islamic teaching is truthful and realistic. Besides, the perception of love in Islam is very exceptional, when a Muslim love, it must be for Allah Almighty; same applies to hate.
Islam teaches the lesson of prosperity in the form of marriage, marriage is finest, purest and permitted relationship that should be present in male and female; it should be the objective that they both have in mind. There is no area in Islam for prohibited affairs or the Western word of boyfriend and girlfriend. All those tales and scripts of media and movies are not handy to make a person comply with the teachings of Islam.

"Three qualities, if found in a person, will help him have perfect faith: Having Allah and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, as the most beloved ones, loving a person only for the sake of Allah and hating getting back to Kufr (disbelief) the way one hates to be thrown into fire."
Love is a fruit of faith. Love lacks faith is mischief. There is no notion of courtship in Islam as it is practiced nowadays. There is no such concept of dating or other living de facto relationship or trying one another out before the marriage commitment. There should have to be no physical relationship before the romance ideas that occupy the mind of youth often have confirmed in most cases to be impractical and hazardous to those involved. If we look at the alarming divorce rate, than we will find out the major reason for it is misunderstandings and pre-tasting results which cause the love demand to be completed before and after marriage one will think that "What's new?". Let me give you an example, the couple knows each other for years, are very close, living their lives together and so on. Somehow this is not the guarantee for the triumph of the future marriage. Romance and love simply cannot be ever bonded as one in a cream relation.
Mostly, romance and love die out by the passage of time when couple find themselves with the cold blooded world. The imaginary expectations that youth have is what often dwell to the failure of particular relation.
Yet I would consider personally that different culture make the Islamic marriage as a fun but it is the fact that the marriages in Islam is considered to be the most successful one comparatively with the other cultures. This is because people are blindly looking for physical attraction and they are addicted to it and thus do not choose the well-matched partner. Love blinds about the problems in a relation earlier but they are realized later on.

There is an Arabic saying: "Love is blind, it makes zucchini turn into okra". Arranged marriages, on the other hand, are based not on physical attraction or romantic notions, but rather on critical evaluation of the compatibility of the couple. That is why such marriage often proves successful.

Islam says Love by abiding rules of life As the directives are given by ALLAH almighty, Prophet, Jesus, Quran and Bible.
