Army Private Bowe Bergdahl Resurfaces On Taliban Video
Bowe Bergdahl was taken prisoner by the Taliban in June 2009 while serving in Afghanistan. Since then his exact whereabouts are unknown. However he was seen briefly in a Taliban video clip that surfaced recently. Many expected Bowe Bergdahl to be killed by now, however a man who had been kidnapped and released by the Taliban said the Afghans will keep him still living. The Taliban won’t permit somebody to get a good installment loan to purchase Bergdahl’s independence either. sixteen months back Bowe Bergdahl captured
Bowe Bergdahl seems within the most recent Taliban video clean shaven and apparently suffering from a beating. The appearance of Bowe Bergdahl within the Taliban video makes it seem as if the video was taken soon after he was taken. Experts believe it was close to 16 months ago. The video clip released Wed is the fourth Taliban video clip Bowe Bergdahl has appeared in since he was captured in eastern Afghanistan. In other videos he has sported a lengthening beard. In the 45 minute video that has clips of militant attacks and a senior Taliban commander called Jalaluddin Haqqani giving a speech, the U.S. solider seems and is expected to be the only U.S. soldier the Taliban is holding hostage.
Could it be accurate the Taliban is obtaining the things they request from Bergdahl?
In April, Bergdahl surfaced in a Taliban video denouncing the Afghanistan War and pleading to be released. In August, one of Bergdahl's alleged captors told the Sunday Times that the American had converted to Islam and had taught him how to convert a cell phone into a remote detonator for a roadside bomb. Bowe Bergdahl was cooperating with the Taliban along with Afghan intelligence officials. The Taliban supposedly already knew the information given from Bergdahl. The captor said the American was just attempting to stay alive by pretending to be a Muslim.
Trying to stay alive with some kind of value is Bergdahl
A journalist explained that Bergdahl is safe. This was after the journalist was, in 2008, taken by the Taliban. Idaho Public Television interviewed Jere Van Dyk. He said that the Taliban wouldn't hurt him more than likely. Van Dyk was kidnapped by the Taliban, held 45 days and released. Pressure to become Muslim would take place more than likely. That is what the Taliban would do. But his value as a propaganda tool is keeping him alive. By letting him live, Van Dyk said, the Taliban are demonstrating that they have changed their ways and no longer behead their captors to terrorize their enemies.
